In the solo directorial debut of Gerwig (of upcoming Barbie fame), Saiorse Ronan (Lady Bird) stars in the title role as a high school senior navigating a loving but turbulent relationship with her mother. This coming-of-age-comedy-drama explores Lady Bird’s relationship with her family as she gets ready to leave her hometown, to attend college in New York City.
