The 2001 film stars Reese Witherspoon as Elle Woods, a fashion-conscious sorority queen who is dumped by her boyfriend and decides to follow him to law school to prove herself and win him back. What she ends up doing is learning about her value beyond her looks, and winning a major court case along the way.
